ITINERARY

Day 1. The Upper part of the Southwestern Lowlands.
Pick up the car today and head for the accommodation in the South-western Lowlands, where the next four nights will be spent.  En-route some of the attractions. 
Accommodation in the area for the next 4 nights.


Day 2. Fishing in Lake Apavatn.
Lake Apavatn.  The bait: Fly, spoon and worms.

Day 3. Fishing in Lake Thingvallavatn.
Lake Thingvallavatn.  The bait:  Fly, spoon and worms.

Day 4. Fishing in River Bruara.
River Bruara.  The bait:  Fly, spoon and worms.
 
Day 5. Gullfoss – Geysir area.
Accommodation in the Gullfoss-Geysir area.  An ideal day to continue sightseeing and/or relax by a swimming pool or on a golf course nearby.
Accommodation in the area.

Day 6. Reykjavík.
Morning drive to the capital, spend the reast of the day in Reykjavík.  The suggested route takes you through the First National Park on Lake Thingvallavatn to be able to enjoy one of the most interesting attraction of the country.  After visiting the Parliamentary Plains the drive continues along the lake and past the geothermal power plant at Nesjavellir.  The capital offers you a unique experiences and cultural events. You can find good restaurants, elegant shops, excellent museums and exciting night life.
Accommodation in Reykjavík at hotel or guesthouse by your choice (optional).
