ICELANDIC FARM HOLIDAYS
Icelandic Farm Holidays is a
chain of 150 farmhouses, with total of 4000 beds around the
country. The members are farmers who offer accommodation to
travellers in their homes, guesthouses,
country-hotels and
cottages. The association was founded in 1980 and from 1990
Icelandic Farm Holidays has been a fully licensed Tour
operator and a Travel agent.
The
accommodation is diverse; made up beds in four different
categories, with or without private bathroom, sleeping bag
accommodation, cottages and camping.
Our farms also
offer various recreation; horse riding, fishing, hunting,
sailing, swimming, glacier tours, golf, etc. etc.
For people who choose to be independent in their travels we
offerself drive packages summer and winter - rental car and
farm accommodation. For those who
would like to enjoy
guided tours we offer exciting scheduled tours,
which give you the chance to discover the diversity of Icelandic
nature and culture. Also, if you have your private group, we
can organize an ideal tour for each group/family.
