MONDAY-FRIDAY Thursday: City Sightseeing Reykjavik, 3-4 hours Pick up at 09;00 English speaking guide. The morning sightseeing tour of the capital takes you to some of its important attractions, i.e. the old centre with its lutheran and catholic cathedrals, Houses of Parliament, the City Hall and the old harbour, the university quarter and two of the towns landmarks, the Hallgrim's Church and the dome shaped Pearl, both of which offer excellent panoramic views of the captal area. Wednesday: Gullfoss & Geysir Tour, 8 hours Pick up at 09;00, English speaking guide. Across the eastern mountains of the capital the first stop is spent in the horticultural town Hveragerdi, where the greenhouses are heated geothermally to grow all kinds of exotic plants and fruits. The Golden Waterfalls and the Geysir hot spring area are visited before heading back to Reykjavik. Thursday: Reykjanes and the Blue Lagoon 6 hrs (Entrance included) Pick up at 10;00, English speaking guide. Visit to the presidential residence at Bessastadir and its interesting church. Through the lava fields and natural phenomena of the Reykjanes peninsula. The duration of the stay at the Blue Lagoon is approximately 2 hours for an unforgettable and very refreshing bath. Please remember to bring the bathing suits and towels along! Friday: Transfer to Keflavik Airport
