ITINERARY

Day 1. Pick up the car today and head to drive around Iceland. You can start to drive towards North or South Iceland route and locate your fishing ground acording to the Fishing card.
overnight in the area.

Day 2 to  8. Continu your drive to fishing card locations around Iceland.

You have two options driving from Reykjavik, via south Iceland or drive to north Iceland for
fishing tour around Iceland


Driving  South Iceland is a lowland region of lush farmland, striking waterfalls, sandy coastline, glaciers and quaint towns and villages.

Driving to North Iceland going via the small town Borgarnes and a few neighbouring communities were united under the name Borgarbyggd. You are headed north, you have the moorland Holtavorduheidi before getting to North Iceland.

Fishing Tackle Disinfection: Iceland has always been free of UDN and other freshwater diseases, and maintains a strict disinfection policy towards tackle brought by visiting anglers. Visitors can have their tackle disinfected by local vets, and obtain a certificate to prove the fact, before leaving for Iceland, or have their equipment disinfected by officials on arriving at Keflavík, Akureyri or at Egilsstadir airport
