Golf Club Dalbui on Lake Laugarvatn was founded in 1989.  Its first golf course was situated behind the highschool.  In 1995 the club members started construction work on a new golf course on the property of farm Middalur in co-operation with the Guild of Bookbinders.  The present course has 9 holes, but 18 are planned.  The club house was built in 1999-2000.
