Golf Club Ondverdarnes was founded by a few members of the Masons Guild after it had purchased the property.  They have benn working on improvements of their golf course and other facilities of the large recreational and summer house area ever since.  The club house was finished in 1994.

The main trades of this county are agriculture, services and tourism. A few of the inhabitants are employed by the hydro electric power stations on river Sog and gradually hamlets have developed there and at Borg, where it started with a school building, a cultural community centre and a shop.
