Golf Club Patreksfjordur was established in December 1992. Its
golf course is about 10 kilometres distance from village Thingeyri on
the property of abandoned farm Vesturbotn. Construction work
started there in 1993. Eleven years later great improvements were
carried out. Tthe club house is located where all courses can be
watched. Their landscapes have to be respected and can be
unforgiving.
