River Baugsstadaos runs through the Floi County and forms the boundary to the next one.  Its source is to the north of farm Kampholt.  There it is called Bitrulaekur.  Further down-river it has the name Hroarsholtslaekur, and the part closest to the sea is called Baugsstadaos. The first part of the river is called Voli.  It abounds in arctic char and sea trout and occational salmon is also caught.

The distance from the capital is about 75 kilometres
