Lake Brokarvatn has an area of about 0,4 km².  Its greatest depth is 4 m and it is situated 37 m above sea level. River Brokarlaekur, which tributes to river Urridaa, is its discharge. The anglers must cross bogs and rugged terrain to get to the best fishing spots.

A short distance west of the lake road 54 runs past it. The main catch is Brown Trout (3 pounds). The discharge is also good for angling.

The distance from the capital is 86 km by the Whale Bay tunnel and 12 km from Borgarnes.
