This is a 3 rod, sea char and sea trout river.  Its fishing spots and surroundings are highly interesting and beautiful.  The landscape is patched with bushes and at the confluence with River Jokulsa the anglers usually are quite successful.

The river is solely a fly-fishing river and the release method.  The fishing season starts with the char around the middle of June and late in summer the sea trout starts appearing.
