Both rivers are in the Faskrudsfjordur county. River Tungua runs through a vegetated area and the catch is mainly rather small sea char.  River Dalsa also contains mainly small sea char with bigger fishes among them. The best time of the season is the latter part of summer. The distance from the capital is about 690 km and 81 km from Egilsstadir.
