Djupivogur is a fishing village on the south side of the mouth of the Berufiord bay. It is beautifully situated and was a trading post in the past. It still is the trading centre of the area and offers sightseeing tours to the nearby historic island Papey (bird- and sometimes whale watching) as well as deep sea angling. The fishing grounds are so rich, that sometimes the anglers get exhausted and have to rest.

The boats are well equipped for the angling and the tackle awaits you on board. The catch can be prepared in the Hotel Framtid upon request afterwards.

The distance from the capital is 554 km along the south coast.
