This crystal blue spring fed river has its sources at the edge of the 1783 lava field and its course follows the edge for a long distance through nicely vegetated areas and beautiful lava landscapes.

Road no. 204 crosses it and the fishing spots are easily accessible. The catch is large sea trout and sea char.
