Lakes Fiskivotn, located in District Strandir, have an area of 1,2 km². They are shallow and situated 260 m above sea level. Their discharge is a brook, which tributes to river Hvalsa in the north.

The walking distance to the lakes is 6 km from Hrafnsdalur. The lakes abound in lake char, which resembles one of the char species of the largest lake of the country, lake Thingvallavatn.

The distance from the capital is 190 km by the Whale Bay tunnel and 20 km from the hamlet Bordeyri.
