A three rod river and a very popular one indeed. It is of medium volume and flows through woodland terrain. 250 to 350 salmons are a common season's total and last season one of the countries biggest salmon, a 24 pounder, was taken from the Flekkudalsa.  It has a well equipped self catering lodge. A small company by the name of Laxmenn, headed by one Omar Blondal Siggeirsson, manages the river. See fishing Statistic
