Lake Flokatjorn has an area of 0,23 km² and is situated 90 m above sea level in the parish Biskupstungur.

Its discharge, Fljotslaekur, tributes to river Tungufljot, and its surroundings are well vegetated bogs. There is no road to the lake and the walking distance from the farmstead Litla-Fljot on road no. 35 is 3 km. The catch consists of fine lake char, 1-3 pounders. 

The distance from the capital is about 93 km and 40 km from Selfoss.
