River Holaa is the discharge of Lake Laugarvatn and tributes to River Hagaos, the discharge of Lake Apavatn.  It is a very good char river (2-4pounders).   Many holiday houses have been built in the  vicinity of Lake Laugarvatn, and many trade unions  own accommodations there.  The camping site at Lake Laugarvatn is as good as they get and the farmers at the farms Utey and Laugardalsholar  sell permits for the river.
