Hvammsvik is an abandoned farm on a spit of land on the Whale Bay. During winter people enjoy ice fishing there. A small lake there is constantly supplied with trout and char for the anglers, who enjoy their stay in that lovely area only a stone's throw away from the main road. The distance from the capital is about 50 km.
