This
is the region's second salmon river of some note. It
is fished with two to three rods like the Laugardalsa but
usually yields slightly less. Every now and then during
downswings, the Langadalsa will obtain the upper hand,
but generally speaking the Laugardalsa is the better river.
Having said that, the Langadalsa is usually sold out as it
is very popular among native anglers. This river has a good
solid lodge but no staff to do the cooking. The river runs
through a beautiful valley and has a variety of holding
pools, ranging from falls and fast running deep pools, to
slow moving flats. See fishing
