Lake Laugabolsvatn has an area of about 0,52 kmē at 41 m above sea level. Lake Efstadalsvatn has 0,46 kmē at 123 m. The river Laugadalsa runs through them both.

The catch consists of brown trout and lake char. A fishing lodge for salmon anglers is located on the river. It is accessible by road no. 632. From Laugabolsvatn one must walk to Efstadalsvatn.
