Lake Mjoavatn is beautifully situated in Valley Breiddalur a short distance from road #1 and fishing hamlet Breiddalsvik.  Accommodations of various kinds available in the area.  The lake abounds in 3-5 pounders, lake char and brown trout, and the lake does not have any history of being netted.  The number of rods per day is 10 and the permit is reasonably priced.

Bait: All bait is allowed: fly, worm and lure..
