Lakes Oddastadavotn consist of the following lakes: Sudurvatn, Skerjalon and Vellankotluvatn. They are divided into two fishing areas: a) Lake Sudurvatn (0,7 kmē, 0,7-2 m deep; 3 m above sea level) and b) Lake Skerjalon (0,5 kmē) and Orfaravatn,

Langatjorn and Vellankotluvatn. Ten permits are sold for each area per day and the catch consists of lake char and sea char. The catch depends on the weather, the time of day and the experience of the anglers. The distance from the capital is 603 km by the Whale Bay tunnel and 24 km from Kopasker.
