Lake Saudlauksdalsvatn has an area of
about 0,9, its greatest depth is 4 m and it is located 6 m above mean sea level.
The main road takes you
all the way to the lake. The lake abounds in small fish, brown trout and lake char. The
fish is mainly netted, but angling permits are also sold.
Daily
opening hours: No restrictions.
Season: Early spring to autumn, whenever there
is no ice covering on the Lake.
Bait: All regular bait is allowed: fly, worm
and lure.
The distance from the capital is about 403 km by the Whale Bay tunnel.
