Sela
is a
small river situated on the east coast, lying between Laxa i
Nesjum and Breiddalsa. It was fished experimentally this
year for the first time with encouraging results. The catch
was 108 salmon for two rods, fished only over weekends from
late July to late September.
We’ve established many of the pools, but s
lot of patches of the river
are virtually
virgin territory.
The river will be offered first time at reasonable price and
is one of the best value salmon fishing possible to
get in Iceland for coming season.
It is ideal to combine with our other nearby rivers.
Accommodation will be on a self-catering basis in the area.
Details of this will be confirmed later.
Fly-only river and catch limit five salmon per rod per day.
See fishing Statistics.
