Farm Malland ownes the northern part of the lake and farm
Keta the southern part. Both farms sell angling
permits. The lake was netted to reduce the stocks and
now 1-2 pounders, lake char and brown trout, are caught.
The lake is accessible by car.
Fishing is practized 24 hours a day during the season
between June 1st and August 31st. The nature of the
Skagi Area, its birdlife and attractions should also be
considered. The lakes are accessible by car.
During summer, the nearby cultural community centre, Skagasel,
offers sleeping bag accommodation and the distances to
Blonduos, Skagastrond or Saudarkrokur accommodations are not
great. |
