Lake Sigurdarstadavatn has an area of 1,6 kmē. Its greatest depth is 3 m and it is situated 2 m above sea level.

The catch consists of sea char, lake char and brown trout. An occasional salmon is caught as well.

The distance from the capital is 604 km by the Whale Bay tunnel and 25 km from Kopasker.
