Angling permits are sold at farm Malland.  The catch consists of nice lake char and brown trout.  The lake is fed by a synonimous stream and discharches into lake Nesvatn by farm Nedranes.  The first mentioned stream is not fished because of an ancient spell.  The lake is accessible by car.  Fishing is practized 24 hours a day during the season between June 1st and August 31st.  The nature of the Skagi Area, its birdlife and attractions should also be considered.  During summer, the nearby cultural community centre, Skagasel, offers sleeping bag accommodation and the towns Blonduos, Skagastrond are nearby.
