Lake Skriduvatn has an area of 1,25 km². Its greatest depth is 10 m and it is situated 155 m above sea level.

The rivers Oxara and Vatnsdalsa feed it and its discharge, Mulaa, tributes to river Geitdalsa and after the confluence the name changes to river Grimsa. Road no. 1 passes along its whole length. The lake abounds in brown trout, 1-5 pounders.
