Lakes Staedavotn are two mountain lakes above cove Breidavik, about 10 minutes' walking distance from the road to the Breidavik Travel Service, where permits are sold as well as accommodations.  The Upper lake is about 1 kilometre long and 800 metres wide.  The depth is not specified, but estimated 4-8 metres.  The same applies to the Lower lake, which is about 700 metres long and 500 metres wide.  The fish weighs 0,5-4 pounds.  The duration of the angling seasons is May-August.  The fishing permit is Ikr. 1.500,oo per rod per day, including Lagoon Vadall near the accommodation.  Angling permits are included for those who stay in rooms with all facilities.  The number of rods is not specified and the guests are offered to bring the catch to be served at the guesthouse.
