There are not many restrictions on coastal fishing, but we recommend you get more information from the Tourist Centres and that you get permission from the landowners. Coastal fishing offers the opportunity to catch sea char, sea trout and other species as they wait to run the nearby rivers.

Coastal fishing requires one to take the tides into account. Usually the bait is spinner but quite a few anglers have used flies with very good results. We would appreciate hearing about your experiences with this type of angling so we may share them with others.
