There is only a short way to go to the rich fishing grounds off Keflavik, Sandgerdi and Grindavik in well equipped boats for deep sea angling.

The bird life on the way and during the trip is highly interesting and you can expect to see dolphins, minke-, humpback- or killer whales swimming about. All the tackle is on board and the anglers take the catch with them if they wish. The distance from the capital to Keflavik is 48 km.
