A rather small
river flowing into the East Ranga just above the junction of the Ranga
rivers. The Thvera used to be a clean and through sea trout river but
farmers have started a smolt stocking
program that has turned the river into a decent and improving Salmon river.
The sea trout are still there and the farmers are hoping that they will cope
with the salmon. The odds are against it though as the Thvera is thought to be swappable
for salmon. Under those circumstances the sea trout usually give way. But this still
remains to be seen on the Thvera. See fishing
