The sources of this river are a few lakes and brooks of the hinterland and moors.The char fishing area is about two kilometres long from the lake Flodid to the north.

It abounds in char and every season a few salmons are caught there as well. The char anglers have a special lodge, where they cater for themselves in the slopes east of the river. The other lodge for the salmon anglers is further south in the valley
