Foss a Sídu is a spectacular farm mound approx. 10 km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A beautiful waterfall falls from the cliffs above the farm, from a lake called Þórutjörn. This magnificent spectacle catches the eye of everyone that pass by. A passable hiking trail leads to Þórutjörn and from there the view of Sida is amazing. A short way from Foss a Sidu Dverghamrar lie. Dverghamrar are peculiar and beautiful formations of columnar basalt.
