Thorsmork is the southern end station for the "Laugavegur" hiking trail to Landmannalaugar, where the hikers can catch scheduled buses headed east (Klaustur) or west (Reykjavik) on the Landmanna Route.
Other bus schedule connections are available. such as North Iceland, Fjallabak highland and Around Iceland Route.  Stop over wherever you wish for as long as you want.
