The Coves or the Inlets of the Borgarfjordur County between the bays Borgarfjordur and Lodmundarfjordur are the following:  Alftavik, Husavik, Herjolfsvik, Breidavik, Kjolsvik, Hvalvik and Brunavik.  All of them were inhabited in the past except Herjolfsvik.
