Holaholar is a group of craters on the southwestern Snaefell’s Peninsula, just off the main road.  A detour into the Berudalur Crater is worthwhile.  It is like entering a natural amphitheatre.  This area is believed to be inhabited by a number of elves.

The farm Holaholar stood nearby and was abandoned close to the turn of the 19th century.  More such crater groups are scattered over the westernmost part of the peninsula, such as Ondverdanesholar, Purkholar and Saxaholar.
