Holaholar is a group of craters on the southwestern Snaefell’s Peninsula, just off the main road.  A detour into the Berudalur Crater is worthwhile.  It is like entering a natural amphitheatre.  This area is believed to be inhabited by a number of elves.

The farm Holaholar stood nearby and was abandoned close to the turn of the 19^th century.  More such crater groups are scattered over the westernmost part of the peninsula, such as Ondverdanesholar, Purkholar and Saxaholar.
