Stadarskali is a larger service centre with accommodations, a petrol station, a post office, a restaurant and Travel Café Tourist Information Centre. There are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity, good salmon rivers, trout- and char lakes in the highlands and a summer festival called Bright Nights attracts many people.
