Strengir Rivers

2008 salmon fishing season in Iceland was quite amazing. Again we had the midsummer draughts, however the salmon runs were so huge that they started to enter the rivers earlier than is usuall. Which meant that the salmon did not congregate as much in the eastuaries or inflows into glacial rivers and were running strong all season long. We had a memorable reckord season in Iceland
