We can also send you off with a packed lunch or a picnic basket. The bar offers a selection of local beers and cocktails.
Here, you can linger in the LavaSPA natural hot pool and sauna, read a book from our library or exchange stories with other travelers around the campfire. We have a small playground for the youngest generation and we have trunks, full of toys such as Frisbees, footballs, crocket sets and other fun stuff for people of all ages.

Hiking trails Some people choose to go on and return to the Volcano Huts in the afternoon, while others may venture deeper into the mountains on their way along the , which connects Thorsmörk and the Landmannalaugar area.
How to get here The best way to get here is by bus, as you will have to cross a few big rivers on the way. You can take the bus all the way from Reykjavik or leave your car and hop onboard the bus at various stops along the way.
