Thorsteinsskali in Herdubreidarlindir Mountan hut ATA

Region: Highland
Coordinates: 65.1926667° N 16.2231667° W

The Akureyri Touring Association (ATA) Mountain hut Thorsteinsskali was built 1958-1960 and accommodates 30 people. The kitchen is equipped with a gas-stove, a centrally heated kettle, and utensils. Wardens attend the hut during the period June – August. WC and a shower are in a separate hut. A camping site is near the hut.
