About Vadalfjoll

Mts Vadalfjoll are located straight to the north of Guesthouse Bjarkarlundur in the Reykholar County. Its most prominent parts are two ancient, basaltic crater plugs, which have withstood the erosion better than their surroundings. They protrude about 100 metres above their surroundings and the lower one is easy to climb. The easiest access to the higher one is from the pass between them. Those who have been up there on a fine day, praise the beautiful views.
